Alex Molinari

Alex Molinari is an artist living and working in San Francisco. In an effort to examine how our culture defines itself, Molinari’s practice reconsiders various methods of communication including antiquated printmaking techniques, digital imagery, social media, the written word, and stand-up comedy. His work exaggerates tensions inherent to various media, exploiting the distance between expectation and perception.

Molinari received his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2012 and an MA/MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2015.
